To document the in-between moments, we installed a webcam in our bedroom. This film compilation reveals an intimate dimension of Marisa’s healing journey.
Originally saved as personal souvenirs, we are now sharing these raw fragments as a companion to the work. Together, they offer a quiet glimpse into the creation of the paintings: waking in the middle of the night to bleed onto canvas, emotional conversations, tender touches, photographing, observing, dancing, making dinner — with our cat Mimo always nearby.
~ The rising whistles you hear in the first portion is the song of coqui frogs.
