MOON PAINTINGS

Flow of Life is a collection of 13 menstrual moon paintings. For one lunar year, Marisa’s vagina and gravity were her paintbrush in this personal yet universal exploration. She practiced free-bleeding onto a large sheet of circular paper for 13 continuous months as personal research for health and understanding. Each painting is accompanied with a reflecting poem, influenced by her emotional and philosophical state.

WALKING THROUGH TIME

but why am i

during the act of every living breath?

emptiness ‘Love’?
would i melt
